Cartoning machines for bottles, tubes, blisters and sachets
The last station before the pallet is the one that decides whether the retail box arrives square. Carton erection and closing are the two places where cheap machines show their limits.
Carton quality is decided at the erection station
A carton that leaves the machine slightly out of square will jam the case packer, the palletiser or the retail shelf. The erection station therefore uses a servo-controlled blank feed with a mechanical forming sequence that squares the carton before it reaches the loading position — rather than relying on the product to push it open.
Two loading architectures cover most products. End-load cartoners take bottles, tubes and blisters horizontally into a carton whose ends are later closed by tuck-in flaps or hot melt. Top-load cartoners lower products vertically into an erected carton, which suits fragile items and kits where the display matters.
Leaflet folding, coding and inspection are integrated as modules on the same frame. A no-product-no-carton interlock prevents empty cartons from reaching the case packer, and a missing-leaflet detector rejects the carton before closing.
Typical configuration shown. Final specification is confirmed against your product, pack format and output target before the order is locked.
Key features
- Servo blank feed
Consistent carton pick-up regardless of board stiffness or humidity.
- Mechanical squaring
Cartons are squared at erection, so downstream case packing runs without jams.
- Integrated leaflet folder
One to four folds, with missing-leaflet detection before closing.
- Tuck-in or hot-melt closing
Choose the closing method your board and shelf-life requirement calls for.
- No-product / no-carton logic
Empty cartons are not erected, saving board and preventing downstream jams.
